This year the Bar Council returned with our first in-person Pupillage Fair exhibition since 2019. Taking place at etc. venues, 133 Houndsditch, Liverpool Street, London, on Saturday 15 October 2022, attendees were able to visit over 80 exhibitors and meet with representatives from a wide range of pupillage providers and experts from across the Bar.
At the Pupillage Fair, aspiring barristers could:
- Get advice on CVs and applications
- Find out more about funding and support
- Hear from practising barristers on their experience at the Bar
- Discuss prospects with representatives from a wide range of pupillage providers
This year the Pupillage Fair also included a series of online fringe events in the week leading up to the exhibition on Saturday 15 October 2022, through which attendees were able to hear what life is like as a barrister working in different areas of practice and find out about joining the Bar as a career changer or an applicant with a disability.
