What's the best piece of advice you've had about being a woman at the Bar?
This advice is not limited to women. It is this: be bold; take advantage of opportunities. Often, the only thing standing in the way of your success is your self-limiting beliefs.
Which women and men have supported you through your journey at the Bar?
Professionally, I have been supported by a number of people in my chambers, both contemporaries and more senior members. My biggest personal supporter is my husband.
What is your greatest professional achievement?
Successfully negotiating a substantial settlement in a case where my client’s damages claim had very poor prospects of success.
What’s the single biggest change you want to see for women at the Bar?
More female QCs, particularly at the commercial Bar.
