Who can use the mentoring guide and cards
Our Mentoring at the Bar guide and cards are designed specifically for barristers. The guide along with the cards help mentors provide guidance for mentees to establish goals for mentoring sessions. These cards can be used at any point in the relationship to help mentees think about what’s most important for them.
How the guide works
The Mentoring at the Bar guide provides points for and answers questions about establishing a mentor relationship.
The cards are like a pack of playing cards and can be used as visual aid to establish priorities. Use the cards with our Mentoring at the Bar guidance to establish structure and focus for mentoring sessions and a plan to progress goals.
The cards are split into three groups:
- Personal
- Developing career / practice
- Family
Where to get the guidance
