Following the success of the past two seminars in Cyprus, the Bar Council's International Committee, in partnership with the Cyprus Bar Association, are organising their third English-Cypriot Law Day.

The conference will take place on Friday 6 July 2018 in Nicosia, Cyprus.

 The topics discussed at the event will include:

  • Civil procedural law developments: including recent cases on establishing jurisdiction in England and security for cost

  • Developments in Criminal Law: including Dishonesty, Money Laundering, and Unexplained Wealth Orders

  • Using evidence from related cases: the cross-over between courts, tribunals and regulatory proceedings

  • Family law: money matters and families across frontiers

The Bar delegation will be led by the Chair of the Bar Council of England and Wales, Andrew Walker QC. 

 Barristers of England and Wales who have paid the Bar Representation Fee are welcome to attend the event free of charge.
