The Bar of England and Wales is very internationally orientated. A significant proportion of its members have an international practice and that number is increasing all the time.

**Data breach:Please be aware that a mobile device belonging to the Bar Council's International team has recently been stolen. Whilst every effort has been made by the Bar Councils Information Services team to contain the data breach, there remains some risk that professional contacts of the Bar Council's International team's personnel who had email correspondence with the team via the stolen device may be compromised by this incident. 

Please be assured that the Bar Council is doing all it can to mitigate this risk and we urge you to be vigilant to suspicious emails.
